First Glimpse Celebrity Silhouette will launch in fall 2011 as the fourth ship in Celebrity Cruises' innovative Solstice class, which includes Celebrity Solstice (November 2008), Celebrity Equinox (summer 2009) and Celebrity Eclipse (April 2010). The ship is currently under construction at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. As a sister ship to the three other Solstice-class vessels, Celebrity Silhouette will share their design, offering now-popular features like the Lawn Club with its real grass and glass-blowing studio, multiple onboard restaurants (everything from French to Asian-fusion) and a futuristic disco. Like its siblings, the ship will also boast large standard cabins, 90 percent of which will be outsides; 85 percent of all cabins will be outfitted with verandahs. No details have been revealed yet about whether this fourth ship will sport any design tweaks or program innovations. Editor's Note: Above photo is of sister ship Celebrity Solstice.
